Believe it or not, I'd say that more than half of the nation are not just binary followers of one partisan dogma or the other. We live in a world of shades of gray, not black and white. I still think Joe the "Reporter" will have a pretty limited audience. Is there some way of quantifying his popularity so we could perhaps make it interesting and make some kind of bet on it?

Only a few will be interested. Half of the nation is in love and doesn't care what wrong Obama will do. The other half already knows he will be a failure. I think more people are more interested in Joe the plumber.

I don't think he shouldn't be a reporter. I just strongly believe that he won't be a very good one.

The jury is out on Joe as well as President Community Organizer and Senator SNL. The nation will be very interested in seeing how 2 of the 3 do at their new jobs.

If a community organizer can be president and a Saturday Night Live comedian can be a U.S. senator, why can’t a plumber be a reporter?

Oh please, like this guy doesn't have an agenda? And we know plenty to judge him. We know that he was not exactly forthcoming with true information about himself. We know that he was quickly manipulated by the campaign to be a walking talking point. We know that he was trying to make book and even a country music recording deal before the clock ran out on his 15 minutes of fame. We know that as soon as they lost the election he bit the hand that fed him. And it can be surmised that he's just one big attention whore. That said, I couldn't care less who is "reporting" on pajamas media. I just think this guy is an absolute tool. I don't think people like him do any favors for whatever side they happen to be "reporting" for.

Joe the plumber isn't running for office. We know nothing about him to even judge him. As for substance, I think you missed the whole point, a reporter should bring the news not make it up. As long as Joe can ask a simple and honest question (the main stream media can't) he'll do just fine.

I can't say I'm exactly upset by this, but I do think the guy is a bit of an empty shill for the right. I'd compare him to Cindy Sheehan, only she has slightly more substance. It would be nice to see people on both sides having people with more substance rather than these easily manipulated dullards pretending to be "the common man."
