Misunderstanding evil

Published by larryamon at 11:07 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Israeli President Shimon Perez is saying that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad needs to wake up and realize that he can’t feed Iranian kids uranium. This would be logical thinking but why is it that everyone in the western world seems to think that everybody is the same the world over and all leaders think rationally the same way they do. Just look at North Korea and you realize that some leaders don’t care about feeding their citizens nearly as much as they care about furthering terrorism and achieving their own goals no matter how strange or nonsensical they are.

I suppose this kind of thinking is what will lead world leaders to cave in to Iran because they can’t fathom that anyone would intentionally hurt their self or own citizens to further a goal. This isn’t just misunderstanding evil and it’s nature this is a lack of understanding as to basic warfare. You can’t go around trying to figure out the whole world. Especially if you assume that everyone works the same way.

Israel doesn’t really have a lot of room to talk. At least Iran’s nuclear program is within the guidelines of the IAEA, something Israel can’t claim.

First of all Iran is not within the guidelines which is why the UN passed three rounds of sanctions against them. Israel is not breaking any rules or guidelines because they never signed the NNPT which Iran did.
