Obama’s tax plan that will hurt us all

Published by larryamon at 9:31 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Apparently Mr. Obama can try and hide from some things like where he was born,

or what thugs he gives money to. But he can’t hide what he really plans to do with our money. In this one article we see that Obama wants to take money from hard working small businessman and give it to people who haven’t earned it.

(don’t fall, for his lie that most small buisnesses make under 250k that’s just baloney. Most take in much more.)

He does seem to think that money trickles up. You can argue if you want that trickle down doesn’t work but there’s no way you can say trickle up does. Taking money from small businesses is not the answer. I know a man who has a small business that has been doing pretty well but he owes millions in taxes that he can’t afford to pay. He would likely qualify to have his taxes raised too under the Obama plan. People making over 250k are not the wealthiest people in America. Many of these people are small business owners who don’t really get any where near that amount after paying taxes and employees and their own extra seven percent or so of FICA that regular employees of large businesses don’t have to pay but the businesses still have to pay. So after my friend likely goes out of business because of too much tax under the Obama plan, all of his employees will loose their jobs and the people who Obama gave the money to will have likely wasted it and still need more. The amount the government taxes people and businesses can often be so much that it brakes them, but the programs that the government funds very rarely help people lift themselves up, because most of the time people in those programs have no motivation to do better because they’re happy taking from the government what they can get. To underscore this point let me tell you another story. One of my former pastors used to belong to a popular Christmas gift giving charity until he helped deliver the presents and saw that almost every place he went to, the houses were in ruins and a mess and they didn’t have much but they did have giant screen televisions x-boxes and other kinds of luxury items. They didn’t get those items from charities either. I’m all for helping out the poor and providing food and gifts at Christmas time and other times. But what you see is that many people who don’t have much, don’t have it for a reason, it’s because they waste the money they do have and don’t really work hard to get ahead. In many cases the children in these families suffer but government programs can do a lot more harm than help. So who gets hurt by higher taxes on the so-called wealthiest people? Everyone, the poor, the middle class and even those people who do make more money are the ones who get hurt. Just because you make more doesn’t mean you should continually pay more and more. Should 2% of the people pay 45% of the taxes? I’m not wealthy but even I can see that’s not fair. And the truly very rich people usually don’t pay as much taxes because they have lawyers and accountants who find ways to shelter their money.
