Change, should we believe in it?
Is anything really going to Change Nov 4th or even January 20th? Yes I know some things will change and some policies will change. Will everything get better or will anything get better after the election? Some people think that Obama will bring real change and that any change has to be an improvement especially with the current financial troubles. But any change isn’t necessarily better. Barrack Obama could conceivable make things much worse and make the financial troubles worse too. Any change should involve a change more in the right direction, what ever direction that is and it may even need to be staying the course for the long hall. One thing is likely and that’s when the party that has the presidency changes hands, Wall Street tends not to like it. Another thing is the Democrat party is not seen as the party that wants to help businesses, so that may make Wall Street jittery. Now on the other hand just to be fair, if John McCain were to win there is no reason to believe things will change or get better either. Wall Street may be jittery for some real as well as some purely speculative reasons but John McCain doesn’t have any special plans that will make things better and the market will likely adjust over time. One final thought though is that some things may be better off unchanged. However considering how badly the government is managed in general, there is definitely room for improvement. Let’s just not change for the sake of change though.

Who do you propose voting for then? just curious.
Well, Ted Haggard isn’t on the ballot, and neither is John Hagee, so… I’m guessing a write-in for Rev. Thomas Muthee?
Fred Phelps/Pat Robertson ‘08!
